MPLAB X IDE and xc8

I know Mplab x ide is freeware. However, my question is: Is XC8 complier free too?

    Yes, in free mode, which allows optimisation up to -O2.
     
    For further optimisation (probably unnecessary) you will need to pay for a PRO license.

    The free version does not have limitations except for code optimization.

    Thanks. Please give me some idea about optimisation, in short, if possible. without optimisation what I loss? Please consider me as a hobbyist in this field.

    That depends a lot upon what your code does, and your coding style.
    Why not try it and see?
    If you're only making a few devices, it's cheaper just to use a device with more memory than to pay for the compiler.
    (It may run fractionally slower than fully optimised though. We can't predict if that matters to you...)
    You can activate pro mode for a short evaluation period to see what difference it makes (but you can only do this once on each PC).
