BUG in curiosity pic32mz ef 2.0 development board problems with firmware programming

Im using:
mplab 5.40
curiosity pic32mz ef 2.0 development board

I can not select the curiosity board, It is not the first time that happens to me

I tried:
1. close all other projects, close current project, reopen
2. close all other projects, close current project, reopen, reconnect curiosity to USB
3. close all projects, reboot system,  reopen project, reconnect curiosity to USB
all without success

I was working in project until now, but I can not re attach tool again to this project. If open *other* project where the tool is selected it works but not in the current project

In addition I added some images of GUI where I show the tool can't be selected, Note where the mouse pointer are in every image

thanks in advanced

I put in a support ticket for this -  This is a bug in MPLAB X. To work around this, Select "No Tool" as the programmer/debugger. Then in MPLAB X choose the either "Make and Program device" or "Debug", You'll be asked for a list of tools again, this time Curiosity Starter Kits PKOB 4 will be available, select it and it will connect - however in Project properties it still remains "No tool" - but still connects to the Curiosity board. (I have commented on another post with same info)
