Use cpu RTCC

Hi everyone
I want to use picmx775f256l rtcc  alarm function. i am a little confused about the date and time set of alarm. Is it nessary to set the date if i just want to be alarmed per hour? if not, what data should i write to the other time registers.
Thanks

    Hi,
You'll need to set the date + time. Alarms are relative to current time.
Are you using Harmony or not ?
There are many examples for RTCC on internet for PIC32MX family.

For support make sure to check first here : http://microchipdeveloper.com
