WINC1500 connection fails

Hi,
We have a custom board with an XMEGA256, where we have made an adoption of the asf library for the WINC1500 (since the XMEGA isn’t supported).

Scanning and finding our network works fine. It initiates the connection, but it never succeeds and says that the state changed to disconnected, which goes on forever.

I am stuck with this problem, and hope that someone could give me some ideas for how to proceed. I am not sure if we did something wrong when porting to the XMEGA, or if it could be a configuration of the WINC. Any small clue or idea is highly appreciated!

This is the output:

And this is the code where the disconnect message is generated:

   m2m_wifi_request_dhcp_client();
 } else if (pstrWifiState->u8CurrState == M2M_WIFI_DISCONNECTED) {
  printf("wifi_cb: M2M_WIFI_RESP_CON_STATE_CHANGED: DISCONNECTED (error code: %u)\r\n", pstrWifiState->u8ErrCode);
  wifi_connected = 0;
  m2m_wifi_connect((char *)MAIN_WLAN_SSID, sizeof(MAIN_WLAN_SSID), MAIN_WLAN_AUTH, (char *)MAIN_WLAN_PSK, M2M_WIFI_CH_ALL);
 }

 break;
