When I set up in MCC and enabled PWM1-8, the pins in the list to configure showed up as PWMA to PWMD.



PWMA through PWMD are PWM events which are configured by PWMEVTx registers. I don't know if you can route the PWM output as an event, but if you read the datasheet, you'll certainly will be able to figure if this is possible. At any rate, if this is possible, it has to be configured.

I'm getting the gist of this IC, but instead I'm going to use a different one. 24FJ256GB206.

Hi,
PIC24FJ256GB206 seems to be an old device (datasheet is from 2010...) maybe you should look at a more recent PIC24FJ like PIC24FJ512GB606 which is even cheaper...

I thought the CK only had 4 independent PWMs ...
