Looking for PIC16F18875 tutorials

I recently purchased the Curiosity Board HPC with PIC16F18875 micro, but finding tutorials online seems to be a difficult task. I found a page with a bunch of 16F877A, which seems like I could follow along. But It would be nice to find a tutorial series for my brand new HPC. It has to be written text, not video, given my current location.

Anyone know of any? Or can I just use the F877 tutorials I found? I've tried the Microchip page, but I only find code examples. No text.

As a starting point i would sugest the microcontroller's datasheet.
Do you intend to program it in C or in assembly ?

When i first started i used a pic18f4550 and programmed it in assembly using the old MPLab ide.

Inside the datasheet you will find all the information about setting input ports / output ports / oscillator configuration, etc.

The MPLAB or the newer versions of the ide should come with some standard libraries that you can configure for your silicon chip, i think it was in the hardware profile .h or something.

Yeah, the datasheet is good. But sometimes it's easier to follow along in a tutorial, because if you miss something, you spend endless hours trying to find something silly. Well, I suppose that's how you become proficient at it.

I plan to code in C.
