Harmony3 + PIC32MZ starter kit + WINC1500 code generator error

Dear all,
I have a PIC32MZ starterkit (PIC32MZ2048ECM144) mounted via the '168pin to 132pin starter kit adapter' on the 'Starter Kit I/O expansions board' where I plugged in the 'WINC1500 PicTail daughter board'.
I already configured in harmony the TCP/IP stack with the LAN7840 driver which is fully working.
Now I want to add to the stack the WINC1500. I added the WINC1500 driver in harmony, the SPI peripheral and SPI driver.

Now when I want to generate the code, Harmony is giving the follwing error:

The Harmony examples of WINC1500 only have code for the SAM family. The Harmony configurator for the WINCdriver when selecting a SAM device gives a checkbox to choose the interrupt source which is not present when selecting PIC32MZ as device. The PIC32MZ doesn't have the EIC so that's probably why.

I geuss that's where the error is coming from. But how can I resolve this error?
(I already tried to adapt the system_config.h.ftl file by commenting the '#if'. Then it can generate a code but comiling the project gives errors).
Thanks in advance for your help!

    I have same problem.
WINCdriver cannot assign inturrupt source in GUI.
We can do nothing until update release...PLZ
