Pin remap in harmony 2.06

Hello,

I would like to know if Harmony framework is able to configure a PIN remap in a pic32MX795H controller.
I need to remap a PWM port into the Comparator 2 output C2OUT. Is it possible?

Thank you

example:
PLIB_PORTS_RemapOutput(PORTS_ID_0, OUTPUT_FUNC_C2OUT, OUTPUT_PIN_RPG7);

Note you may need to unlock the PPS before you change it.
And not have once set in the config bits (if this applies to your PIC)

You can do it in Harmony too.
You need to make your project "main project" from menu.
Click on tools then embedded.
Click on Harmony configurator.
Click on "Pin settings"
Scroll down to pin you want then click on function column on pin you want.
A drop down menu comes up with all possible functions for that pin.

Configure? Or reconfigure later in the program. If it’s just the initial configuration then use nigels method.

Hello Nigel and NKurzman. Thank you for your answers.
I want to do it in setup time (not in runtime) but the Nigel's method doen't show the PWM output in the RB9 Pin.
I need to configure the RB9 pin, that normally is an C2OUT(Comparator 2 output) to point to the OC2 (PWM output) to drive a buzzer.

I found that harmony has a PPS input and output config that can be enabled for each ouput (that I don't know what output number should I choose for RB9 (pin 22 on the controller). The problem is that there is only one option in each listbox.

Here is the screen shot.

I will try the NKurzman method in my code but should be nice and easier to configure in Harmony.

Thank you again!

Do you mean a PIC32MX795F512H ?
If so, that chip does not appear to have PPS at all.

I'm looking into the processor header file ports_p32mx795f512h.h and found that there is no remapping options for this processor... I will have to redesign the hardware... ugggrrrr... sad: sad

Well spotted.
I did a quick project with that device and Harmony doesn't support it.
