Trying to load a harmony V2.04 tcpip demo project

Hi,
I am using MPLABX 5.25 and Harmony V2.04.
I am trying to load the demo project "pic32_eth_web_server.X" but it keeps reporting:

Failed to open project pic32_eth_web_server
+ Configuration "pic32cz_ca70_xult" load error:  No device support available for device PIC32CZ2038CA70144
Install DFP

I have installed every DFP package relating to PIC32 but still get the error.
I'm not interested in PIC32CZ, I want to run the demo on a PIC32MX795 (on the ethernet starter kit II)

Can anyone tell me what I've missed ?
I have tried so many times to get into using Harmony but every time I try I end up wasting days of time just trying to get a basic demo project going, why do Microchip make everything so convoluted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to Amazon.com and search for "Harmony for PIC32MX Applications".  Click on the picture to bring up a page that can display a few pages at a time.  Use the search, enter "CAUTION".  This should bring up page 8.  The instructions on how to load the web server project for the Ethernet Starter Kit II are there.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I followed your instructions but the Amazon search brought up page 6 which talks about installing MHC and I've done that OK (I have version 2.0.5.2 which says it's good for Harmony Framework 2.02+ and I'm using v2.04). When I try to move on to page 8 as you suggest it jumps to page 219.
MHC won't run because it says there is no selected project (fair enough) so I'm trying to load a demo project from harmony\V204\apps\... but any project I choose gives me this error message about "no support for PIC32CZ..."

I think I know what is wrong.  Load the demo project.  Then right clik on the project to bring up the Project Properties.  There are a number of configurations shown.  On the bottom left, click on the Manage Configurations.  Choose the pic32mx.. and make it the active configuration. Click Apply and OK.  That should get rid of the cz_ca70 stuff.

    Hi BillP,
thanks for the idea. I moved onto Harmony V2.06 and finally got the project to compile and run on the starter kit!! WooHoo.
I also have the PIC32MZ (with FPU) Starter kit so I thought I might try that as well since I seem to be winning...
Changed the configuration (as you describe above) to the right project and changed the debug device to the new Kit.
    Thanks for taking the time

If you are really feeling lucky after getting the PIC32MZ Starter kit to work (it does!), move on to Harmony v3.  That will test your "luck". ;)
