PICkit 4 detecting residual voltage from target
I'm using PICkit4 do program a PIC16F15345 and each time I try to debug with power supplied by PIC it states "PICkit 4 detecting residual voltage from target".
This problem does not occur with ICD4.
This was reported in another post, but, no one gave a real solution.
This makes me loose around 20-30 seconds of time in each programming/debugging (sometimes more).
I've analysed the 5 pins of programming (MCLR,VDD,GND,PGD,PGC) and the problem is:
- MCLR has 3V after each debug. I do not know why.
- Before the next programming MPLABX checks residual voltage and finds (in my board) a 1.05V, because MCLR is still at 3V, and in my schematic, with a pull up 10k resistor in MCLR, generates a 1.05V at VDD. (I tried to reduce with a 1k resistor between VDD and GND, but it is not enough).
Is there a solution for this, or, we must wait that Microchip change the firmware of PICkit4/MPABX to switch off MLCR after each STOP and also before starting analysing residual voltages.
