is there some way to set the Radix setting for a XC8 LST file?

in assembler mode there is the option to set things like: r=hex and p=16F88
in the XC8 Manual there is discussion of: OPT LIST r=hex
but I'm not following where this can be used
if put in the header of a c file the compiler complains about OPT not being defined
if enclosed in asm(""); similar error
if added to the Make options the MAKE fails

Does anyone know how this was meant to be implemented?
Looking to have the ASM listing (lst file) is in HEX instead of DECIMAL

Hi,

Assembler controls are meant to be placed in assembly code; however, after looking at the assembler source, the LIST control is still present, but all the options for it have been disabled. I'll need to check whether that was intentionally done to prevent some issue, or if they accidentally 'fell off'. I can't see any other way to control the listing radix.
