PIC32 equivalent of PIC16 CWG peripheral?

Hi,

Does the PIC32 have the equivalent functionality of the PCI16 CWG module? Specifically I wish to create a push/pull output from the comparator value with deadtime. I'm kind of in-between a rock and heart place as I only need the PIC32MM for the USB functionality, but the lack of being able to do CWG, if so, is a deal breaker.

Thanks,

Andrew

    Hi,
PIC32MM devices have MCCP peripherals as motor control peripherals with some dead time control,
at least in half bridge control mode.
This is a diffferent peripheral from CWG available in some of the latest PIC16 and PIC24 devices.

PIC32MK has very sophisticated PWMs (I'm sure they can do complimentary) and USB as well (even two).

Look at the PIC24EPxxxGUxxx and dsPIC33EPxxxMUxxx families.  They have USB & Motor Control PWM.

They only have USB Device mode though.

I can see that the PIC32MM has PWM, but I'm specifically after a CWG. Basically I have the comparator output and want to create a complementary signal with deadtime. The CWG in PIC16 can do it but it looks like the PIC32 is a PWM+CWG combined.

    What makes you think that?
