RN2483 - Problems with sleep mode

Hi,
i have a problem to set the RN2483 module in sleep mode again after wake up from sleep.
1. I set the modul in sleep mode with sys sleep 36000000    //(10 hours)
This works fine, the power consumption reduced!
2. I wake up the module (57600 Baud) with sending a break condition followed by 0x55. (low signal for 300µs + 0x55).
After waking up, the module response with ok and i can send some data.

But if i want to set the module in the sleep mode again, the module is not working further more.
Can somebody give me a hint whats going wrong?

To summarize the whole thing again:
  1. Sending sensor data to ttn server (every 3 minutes) over hours -> OK
  2. Put device in sleep mode with sys sleep 864000000 -> OK, current consumption -> OK
  3. Wake up from sleep mode with pull the Rx line to low for 300µs (57600 baud) and sending 0x55 for auto baud rate detection -> OK
  4. Sending new sensor data to ttn server -> OK
  5. Put device in sleep mode with sys sleep 864000000 again -> NOT OK - the module response with FE 1E 1E 1E E6 … during command sleep is sending
The modules version is RN2483 1.0.1 Dec 15 2015 09:38:09

Update your module firmware!  That is really old and I think there were issue with sleep!
V1.0.5 has been available for some time now.

However note there are still issues with sleep depending how you use it: https://www.microchip.com/forums/m1099538.aspx

Hi Chris,
i did this in the meantime. Sleep works, but between wake-up from sleep mode and put the device in sleep mode again i must waite at least 3 seconds. But i only have to send out a few data and want to put the device in sleep mode 300ms after wake-up.

You updated your module?
or found that 3 sec awake gets around the problem?

With V1.0.5 I certainly wake tx and sleep in less than 3 seconds but I also wait for Rx as well.

Yes, I updated the module.
I want to wake-up, transmit 4 bytes of data and put the device asap in sleep mode again to save power.
it seems that i must wait for the response of mac_tx_ok after i send data with mac tx uncnf ....before i can put the device in sleep mode?
