BM20 - Transparent serial port

After searching for days to figure this out, I decided to create a topic here.
I'm trying to setup a BM20 Bluetooth module using the SPP. I want a transparent serial pipe to "the other side". For some reason I can only set it up to "HCI-mode", meaning that all data is framed in HCI packets.
How can I create a transparent serial port using SPP on this device?

Thank you

I have a few BM62's coming my way. Footprint very simular (if not equal) to BM20, but it seems that transparant UART is supported on these.
