library differences from 1.25 to 1.41

I have a project I wrote a couple of years ago with XC16 v1.25.

The microchip/XC16/v1.25/lib folder contained folders for each series (ie: PIC24E) and within those were libraries for each part, such as: "libp24ep512gp204-elf.a"

In my old project I copied that file into the project and linked it in.

In the v1.41/lib folder there are no such folders for the separate series of parts, with libraries for individual parts. Since this was a few years ago I don't remember what specifically I was using that required me to link in that specific library. What library am I supposed to use instead, now that I'm compiling with XC16 v1.41?

    The old PLIB libraries are discontinued.
    They are available as a separate download, but may not work with the new were compilers. You can still download an older version of the compiler if you need to build an old project.

    You should find that all you need is:

    # include <xc.h>

    I don't need the world to know my name, but I want to live a life so all my great-grandchildren proudly remember me.
