Looking for Guidance on SPI with DMA for PIC32MK0512MCF100

I hope to send over 30 Bytes of data via SPI to a raspberry pi. We have accomplished this using the standard SPI communication but due to the large buffer size the transfer rate is inconsistant. We would like to use DMA as we expect that this will be faster. We have tried to implement this on the PIC32MK0512MCF100 using simulink 2019a and blockset 3.45.04 but have been unsuccessful. While our code compiles, the SPI communication does not work. As of now, we do not know if this is a problem with the way the raspberry pi is interpreting the SPI message or if the data is not being sent. We'd appreciate being pointed to any resources or examples of SPI using DMA running on any blockset.

Thanks,

Dante
