MPLAB X Displaying Phantom Errors

I'm using MPLAB X 5.20 along with XC32 and the IDE often flags what it thinks are errors, usually "missing" header files. These files actually exist, and the projects build just fine. Is there any way to fix this annoying behavior?

Doesn't look like it will be resolved any time soon.

    "red squiggly lines"
Yes it is an old issue, and apparently a permanent one.
