How to program an ATMEGA324P using MPLAB SNAP?
I tried programming an ATMEGA324P using the SNAP and was unsuccessful. I could not find any specific info on the SNAP's pinout with respect to AVR, only for PIC devices in its datasheet. I read around some forums and hear the pinout for the Pickit 4 may be the same, so I based my circuit off of the following table (AVR JTAG column): https://microchipdeveloper.com/pickit4:interface-pinouts
I created a project for the ATMEGA324P in MPLAB IDE and selected the SNAP as the programmer. I was able to add some register-level code to test it out and the compiler functioned properly. However, I got errors when I tried to flash the MCU using the SNAP.
Is what I'm trying to do even possible? I am hesitant since I couldn't find a pinout specific to any other MCU besides PICs.
