Programmer binaries compiled for ARM Linux (Raspberry Pi)

Any chance we could get the command line tools for the programmers compiled to run on ARM linux?

We'd like to use a Raspberry Pi to push new firmware onto our test stand so we can automate some testing.

I somewhat doubt you'll get the source code for the original tools.

But there are solutions available, e.g.:

Or why not employ g..gl. with a search term like "raspberry pic programmer" (s/o the quotes) or alike ?

Yeah I did see that it could be done with the GPIOs but I was specifically wanting to use one of the programmers.

I mostly wanted to register my interest in ARM compatible binaries. Maybe if there's enough demand Microchip will provide them to us.

Might be a bit more of openness than they'd love to have  Smile

Or you could look for the code for the PICKits (I assume it's available "somewhere in the web").
Informations on how the programming is implemented are available. If you don't like the programming via GPIO (why not? in doubt add some sacrificial driver chips to protect the RPi!): why not contribute your programmer solution based on some PICkit? Praise and honor are waiting for you ...

Considering how people regard the MPLABX suite as a resource hog on standard machines I wonder how well it would run on a RPi, even a model 4 with 4GB of memory.
