ADC: Input Voltage Over Internal Reference

PIC16F18855 Theoretical Question
For 10-bit operations the max count is 1024. What will the count do if the input voltage exceeds the internal reference? Does it increment to all zeros or just stay at 1024? Never mind the damage that may result.

For 10b ADC max value is not 1024. An input at or above reference will be converted to 0x3ff or 1023

Oh well - there's always next year
