MHGC 2.06 -> Why don't Widgets get greyed out when not enabled?

Why don't widgets get greyed out when disabled like the old mplab graphics library?  Editing the schemes disabled  fields seems to have no affect.  It seems the only thing I can do is change schemes live on widgets when enabled versus disabled.

The enable/disable function for widgets in Aria is not intended as a visual change (like graying out), rather it is to tell the event management system whether to accept and propagate touch events as the widget is part of a parent-child construct.
