My email is Nunomaster21@gmail.com. In my last test I removed 0 ohm resistances I had and used wires to put the sdo and sdi signal on right places, but maybe the signal got damaged.

Please check your email , It should compile first and Change suitable pin software and your hardware ............

Did you receive my email? Able to compile as it is? Run the demonstration?

 Hello @TS9 thanks a lot for this example, i can build but can't open the MPLAB Harmony Configurator, the file default.mhc seems to be missing.

MHC is missing because I create package project for you . You can't access that.

If not, Just Manually Change the RF3 in sys_ports_static.c as per your hardware ..

And copy and paste Jpeg with file name as suggested in previous post in SDcard from PC

I runned your example as is.
In sys_ports_static.c i see that RF3 connected to SDI1 and RF5 to SDO2, that is what i had on the beggining and am trying to solve now with wires. (SDI on RF5 and SDO on RF3)
But unfortunately it doesn't do anything, the file isnt changed on sd card.
It doesn't even mount the first time

case APP_MOUNT_DISK:
if(SYS_FS_Mount("/dev/mmcblka1", "/mnt/myDrive", FAT, 0, NULL) != 0)
{
/* The disk could not be mounted. Try
* mounting again untill success. */
PORTCbits.RC2 = 1;//Turns this pin high, were i have an LED
appData.state = APP_MOUNT_DISK;
}
else
{
/* Mount was successful. Unmount the disk, for testing. */
PORTCbits.RC2 = 0;
appData.state = APP_UNMOUNT_DISK;
}
break;

I think the only thing missing is trying a different sd card (i don't have now) and using SPI to write and read directly on the sd card but i don't have the code for that.

Didn't use RF3 ..

Change RF3 to other suitable to Hardware and Software in
(sys_ports_static.c )
Then try again...

Another question, is SDI1 supposed to work with SDO2?

No... With PPS you should use either
SDI1,SDO1,SCK1
or
SDI2,SDO2,SCK2

Can someone confirm if the following pins can be configured as SDI and SDO for PIC32MX470F512L?
I've looked at input and output mapping

SDO1 -> RPD3

SDI1 -> RPF5

Can't test on my PCB because the pads of some resistance got removed with so many soldering and removal of components.

Thanks @TS9, this was a confirmation i did see on the datasheet.
It turns out i don't see RPF3 anywhere there for the SDI1 and SDO1.

With some effort, i did wiring to the pins:
SDO1 -> RPD3 (checked in datasheet)
SDI1 -> RPF5 (checked in datasheet)
SCK1 -> RPD10 (checked in datasheet)
SC_CS -> RPF12

Now i have signal coming to SDI1, this seems a signal that the sd card is finally responding, but there is a big problem, it is responding with 1V??
This maybe the case for it not working now...

EDIT: after a second check the signal of SDI1 is now at 3V3.

Did you pull up SDI1 with 10K Resistance?

I confirmed now a second time and the signal is now at 3V3, its ok.
But still doesn't successfully mount the sd card drive.

Anyway i got good news, the process was successful one time :)
I got the Dir folder and FILE_TOO_LONG_NAME_EXAMPLE_123_1.JPG created.
I will try to replicate now. Thanks for the help.
