Harmony 2.06 and 4.3'' WQVGA PCAP Display Board

Hi everyone,

I'm using an evaluation board that uses the pic32MZ2048EFH144 and my goal is to operate the LCD touch screen that mounts. I'm following the guide 20040 GFX1 "Creating Basic PIC32 Graphics
Applications Using MPLAB® Harmony ". My problem is that I cannot find the touchscreen activation option while (figure) performing exercise n.3, probably using an earlier version of Harmony in this guide.
Can you help me?

Hi,

Welcome To Microchip Forums !!!!!!!!!

Did you checked demos under C:\microchip\harmony\v2_06\apps\gfx
??
Set Configuration accordingly,

It should work  directly with respective hardware you have..

Hi,
thanks for the welcome.
what do you mean by "set configuration accordingly"?

I loaded the program you told me, but the touch doesn't work.

Honestly I do not know.
I'm a beginner.
What I know is:pic32MZ2048EFH144, Evaluation Board whit 4.3" WQVGA PCAP Display Board, pic32_mz_ef_sk_meb2, example loaded: basic motion.

I know I'm not really helpful, but if you tell me where to look I try to find all the information we need.

There is no legacy...

I tried to select one of the configurations in the menu but the results are disastrous, the image on the display disappears.

Look in the gfx Folder.  find any "meb2" projects that have "legacy".    The Issue is you have a board with an old display.  The Touch controller is different.

V2.05 has meb2 legacy gfx projects too.  I do not have V2.06 Loaded.  I guess I should get a Copy.

Hello,

I installed version 2.04. In the quickstart folder I found the legacy file. I set it and generated the code.
I put a button and tried to make the touch work, but nothing.
if I try to change the example and try to generate the code and load it I have several errors.

other ideas?

Hello.

I tried how you told me but it doesn't work. but a doubt arose, if the display freezes? I have seen that if I start a sequence of images nothing happens.

Hi,

Then may be your Hardware Problem. Please contact microchip or your vendor where you have purchased that ?

Or Try with other Hardware Setup?

Or Check I2C Signals with Oscilloscope...?
