Compiler Question

I have been using MPXLAB with the XC16 compiler installed. I am now looking at a device that would require the XC8 compiler. Is it OK to have both compilers installed at the same time? Or do I need to have a separate installation of MPXLAB for each compiler that I want to use?

Thank you,
Mike Nycz

You can have both installed, no problem.
You can even have multiple versions of the same compiler installed, and MPLABX will remember for each project which version should be used.

And you can install multiple versions of both MPLAB X and XC* too!
