Connect GPIO6 with Reset Pin on RN-171?

Hi there

Because of that unsolveable wifi connection bug (https://www.microchip.com/forums/m782246-p2.aspx), now i have the idea to connect the WiFi connection status GPIO Pin 6 with the reset (NOT factory default) pin - so it always does a soft reboot if the WiFi connection breaks...

Is that possible somehow? (I'm not familiar with HW design and issues, i'm just a SW engineer...)

Thank you for your feedbacks.

Best regards,
Jan

No, avoid editing posts with live links in them.
As you can see in the post above, you posted a link just fine.

Hello

OK, thx. ;-)

I thought the reason that i don't had a problem with posting was the internal link to the microchip.com server...

So i will change my signature ASAP.

Best regards,
Jan

"No, avoid editing posts with live links in them."

No, i edited a post and added a link with 40 characters and 1 GET parameter. And i couldn't submit it. So better never post links...;-)

And links just as text (no "a href") does also not work - same message as in my signature...:-(

What kind of crap is that, WTF?? (But the RN-171 is much more crappier!)

No, I meant "live links", i.e. when they are blue and underlined. There is a button in the edit Window to break the link, as explained in the topic I linked to.

Thx!!
