Bug Found on MCCs IOC configuration, PIC16F1574

Hi, i want to report a bug on en MCC
When configuring Pin Module on PIC16F1574
I set the RC1 Pin as input, named di1 and IOC enabled as Negative
I noticed a strange behabior on my button, so cheking it, results that the "Negative" configuration on IOC generated a code for the Positive one. I mean: IOCCN1=Disabled and IOCCP1=Enabled
Changing that by hand in the 'Registers' Tab solved the problem

Best Regards

    Hi,
    Tested on "pic10-pic12-pic16-pic18-1.78.0 version library"
    and it's working properly. Please use the latest library and try once

     below is the generated code for Negative IOC
    /**
    IOCx registers
    */
    //interrupt on change for group IOCCF - flag
    IOCCFbits.IOCCF1 = 0;
    //interrupt on change for group IOCCN - negative
    IOCCNbits.IOCCN1 = 1;
    //interrupt on change for group IOCCP - positive
    IOCCPbits.IOCCP1 = 0;

    Hi, PA91

    I appreciate that you are reweing older messages in this forum,
    to confirm that reported problems have been corrected in the latest release of
    PIC10/PIC12/PIC16/PIC18 library v1.78.0

    The original message was written long before the  v1.78.0 was released.
    Wording of the reply, however seem to imply that the original poster should rather have used a version of the library that was not yet released, and thus the reply appear as arrogant.
    Please acknowledge the reported problem as real at the time it was reported,
    before stating that your test indicate that the issue have been corrected in the latest release.

    Also, please be aware that there seem to be something wrong with the Microchip website download service.
    Trying to download PIC10/PIC12/PIC16/PIC18 library v1.78.0 ,
    is causing a big page of gibberish text to appear, not a file to be downloaded.
    Same problem whether trying to download from MCC webpage, or from within MPLAB X Notifications window.
    This is with Firefox running on a PC with Windows 7.
    So v1.78.0 isn't available to me.

    Rather than just left clicking on the link, try a right-click, and select "Save Link As..."

    Hi Mysil,
    Since most users use the 8-bit library which is part of the MCC Plugin but, 8bit libraries are released separately as well as per the new device release and bug fix. In this case, it's difficult for me to know on which version of the library they have used.
    So whenever I go through these issues I will verify with the latest released 8-bit library to make sure if these issue exists or not and accordingly suggest to use that library version.

    My intention is to provide a solution but not to show my arrogant :)

    Regarding the issues that you have mentioned in "FireFox web browsers". Yes, its know and we have reported it as well.
    and as "ric" suggest try a right-click, and select "Save Link As..." it works.

    Thank you
