ATWINC3400-MR210CA BT serial HW handshaking pins

Page 8 of the data sheet shows pins 10 and 11 as I2C slave pins for test purposes only.
 
Page 34 shows a reference schematic with pin 10 as BT_RTS and pin 11 as BT_CTS connecting to the host processor.
 
So, which is it? Our hardware designer used the reference schematic. Now I'm developing the code and do not know if there are HW handshaking pins to code for or not. Anyone here have some insight?
