Harmony : Dual Memory SdCard Support ?

Hi,

I am planning use PIC32 (MX, MK or MZ) architecture with Harmony V2_06.

Can I use/access two different sdcards with Single SPI module and different Select Lines, and Should I go for two different SPI modules
with Harmony...
?

I need to copy the data from one SDCard to another .

Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I have checked Harmony V2_06 MHC Drivers Setting Tab .

    Number of USART Driver Instances available for USART
    Number of Timer Driver Instances  available for Timer.

    But SDCard Driver has not this option.....Number of SDCard Driver Instances ?

    Will it possible to Interface two microSDCard with Single SPI Module with different select lines with harmony ?
    According to my requirement I have to copy data from one microsdcard to another ?

    Please reply..

    I suggest you post a ticket to Microchip support.
    Also refer to Harmony Release notes and Errata for PIC's Datasheet, might be something there.

    Hi Paul ,

    Support team suggest me
    " To do this with the SD card driver, you will need to set the MHC setting "Number of SD Card Driver Clients" to 2. "
    1)
    Then what will be SPI Instance 1 or 2 ?
    2)
    Should that individual SPI (SPI1 and SPI2) or Single SPI with different select lines?
    3)
    Will harmony generate

    const DRV_SDCARD_INIT drvSDCardInit =
    {
    .spiId = SPI_ID_1,
    .spiIndex = 0,
    .sdcardSpeedHz = 1000000,
    .spiClk = CLK_BUS_PERIPHERAL_1,
    .chipSelectPort = PORT_CHANNEL_F,
    .chipSelectBitPosition = PORTS_BIT_POS_12,                 //?? What for 2nd SDCard..
    };

    4) How to both one by one...

    Could anybody help me for this?

    Best resolve this with support team.
    Maybe they can provide a simple sample project (that you can share here)

    Hi,

    After Some search over microchip website.. I got the link the H3 can support dual microSDCard but with
    different SPI Channels (0 and 1).
