Can't locate certain files generated by harmony, Where are they?

Hi There,
Harmony generated the files, I saved the project and close MPLAB X. After re-opening I wanted to change some of the i/o pins direction, but could not find the file that contains the generated data. Where in the project tree is the pin data code?
Another question is where is the xx.mhc and how to reload to make other changes in the project?
Thank you for your help

I got this response from microchip:
  go to system_init.c -> SYS_Initialize() -> SYS_PORTS_Initialize()
And I found and resolve my i/o setup there.

My second questions: Where is the Harmony configuration xxx.mhc store at, and how to bring it back to add a modification to the project. I would appreciate any help, thank you.

This is not the way I would change i/o settings or other MHC settings.  Open the project (<name.X>, set it as the main project, go to Tools/Embedded/Harmony which restores the MHC settings.  Use the Pin Manager to change i/o pins, change any other framework settings, regenerate the Harmony-generated code (the Code icon), recompile and download the program.

you can find it in "firmware\src\system_config\<configuration name>" folder. but as BillP suggested, avoid changing ".mhc" file manually until you really know the impact. change it through MHC gui only.
