[Solved] Building app.c like in web_server_nvm_mpfs for custom board

Hey every one I was looking at web_server_nvm_mpfs (pic32_eth_web_server) example code. I wanted to start my project based on that template but unfortunately my board is a custom one based on PIC32MZ2048EFH064 while the example project is based on PIC32MZ2048EFH144, I burned the example code on my custom board anyways and the microchip example web page was running without any problems. But for further development of the project, i need to create the template for my own board. but what ever i try, i cant seem to make it work.
What i tried so far:
I created a new project for PIC32MZ2048EFH064 in MPLAB and did all the harmony configuration just like in web_server_nvm_mpfs example and tried generating the code.
the code was created but the app.c state-machine was different from the example code.
so i copied the app.c and app.h from example code and pasted it in source, it compiled fine but i couldn't ping the board or access the simple hello world web page.

Can any one please guide me on how to build a template exactly like the example code.

Versions:
Harmony v2.06
MPLAB X IDE v5.15
