Slow control dsPIC33EP128GS808

Hello,
I am developing a control for buck converter (Type III controller). I am using the dspic33EP128GS808 in simulink, but I have a problem.
 
The response time of my control is very slow.
If the time between disturbances in small the control responds fast, but if the time between disturbances increases the response time also increases (taking up to 40 seg to respond).
 
In the pic I show how I am programming the control.
The Type III controller is discretized with a sampling time of 10us (the switching frequency of the buck converter).
Does anyone have any idea how to make my control faster?

Hi,
 
to evaluate all your simulink settings should be useful if you share your model.
BTW, I had a similar problem when I started with dsPICs and Simulink.
 
I solved thanks to Lubin, by setting my signals to fixed point type. (Fixed Point Tool is needed)

Hello, Filippo,
 
I am trying to configure my signals to the fixed point type. The control is faster, however, the control does not respond correctly.
 
I am using Fixed-Point Tool to Simulink to configure my signals at fixed point type, in simulation it works fine, however when I load it in dsPIC the control does not respond correctly.
 
I read your post (https://www.microchip.com/forums/m1092727.aspx), however there are still things that I do not understand about fixed point. Do you have any information that you can share me?
 
I share my model.

sorry for the late reply but I was on holiday.
I have an older version of Matlab so I cannot open your .slx files.
Could you please re-generate the .slx files doing: File -> Export Model to -> Previous version
and select R2016a.
