How to read Internal ADC on PIC32MZ(EF) starter kit using Harmony?

Hi all,

I'm using the PIC32MZ(EF) starter kit and most for the part of the firmware I'm using Harmony plugin (sample codes). Currently, I'm trying to understand the various parameters, interfaces and Microchip's code and initialisation style. So far everything is going fine, Now for a project, I wanted to use some (12 channels to be precise) internal ADC channels, and for that, I'm not sure which particular project I should choose to develop my application as there is so many ADC sample code. Secondly, I'm not able to find the ADC's pin mapping (pin vs channel) in the code section. Hence, I can't proceed any further with the project.
Moreover, I also want to know the hardware configuration, like how I can connect the voltage source on any pins and what are the voltage limitations, etc.

it would be a great help If I can get some reference document illustrating the complete flow of 'multiple ADC read' from the beginning.

Regards,
Aatif Shaikh

You need to go into Harmony and go into "pin settings" and set the pins to be analogue inputs.
The pins are soft so can be set to be one of numerous possibilities.

There are several threads in this forum where I've posted full projects that read "all" the PIC32MZ ADCs, including notes, warnings, and some patches.
    Search for them (PIC32MZ ADC).

I've also posted with notes about pin settings (without BSP).

Thank you, Nigel and Paul, for your time and support.

Hey Paul, can you please share or provide the link of those threads, where you've posted useful information and complete projects, so, I can refer them in my project. It will be a great help for me to get a head-start and skipping most of the major learning and debugging process.
