Here is the link for dual core chip:
https://www.microchipdirect.com/product/dsPIC33CH128MP508?keywords=DSPIC33CH128MP508-I%2FPT

Ah, thanks. Ordered 10, the unit price comes out to about the same as Farnell, as the 20% VAT is added.

Still puzzled why I could find it using search.

When you do the search, the complete name is required.

DSPIC33CH128MP508-I/PT

Packaging can be different for the assembly machines.
I couldn't find the E type that goes up to 125 degrees C, the ones that we ordered go up to 85 degrees C.

Excellant dma, 180 registers to play with and 100MHz.

Another thing that I'd have liked would be built in eeprom.  You can't have everything though.

I still can’t find them on microchip direct. How did you find them@ Gort2015?

I can't find them neither. Neither on MicrochipDirect, nor on Microchip samples site :(

For me, the direct link given above is working.
When searching another derivative, editing the link accordingly works as well.
(Searching microchipdirect doesn't work for me.)

Good find, Gort.

The link works for me.  The Microchip Direct site reports "2 items are estimated to ship on 25-Jun-2018 from Thailand and will arrive on 28-Jun-2018"

Given the DSPIC33CH128MP508-I/PT is clearly in production and the dsPIC33CH Curiosity Development Board (DM330028) using this same part, I'm hoping the curiosity board will be available before I can get an 80 pin TQFP to DIP adapter here from China (Jul-Aug).

Use: DSPIC33CH128MP508-I/PT when searching Microchipdirect.com
Does not work with: DSPIC33CH128MP508

I've got a load of adapters but not any 80pin to DIL so I also have to wait.

Presume you’ve all seen the 16-bit page updated with a nice video and everything about the dual core? Sneaky to do it on a Sunday but it’ll make Monday more fun!

It's Christmas in July!

Just ordered the DM330028 dsPIC33CH Curiosity Development Board, now available from Microchip Direct.

The ship date is being reported as 16 July, 2018.

And samples are available for every part I looked at from 502 to 508. Ironically this most complex and expensive chip will go in to the lowest cost system I have ever designed! Got to do some work now.

Maybe it's coming to celebrate 4th of July?
At the moment there are still links that "collapse" the the homepage root, but things are getting better...

Just noticed no Vcap pin... The gift that just keeps on giving.  Just trying to work out how to draw the package - should I have the slave core pin names as a separate colour... or italic...

Italics didn't work very well - gone for a nice purple.  Should be readable in print too.
