MPLABX (+harmony)

I have some experience in using IDEs.
And I appreciate the effort to make MPLABX and Harmony.
But many , many errors make their use a torture.
For simple things, it's good. If you want to do something more complex, it's ... embarrassing.
"Connection failed" (at PICkit3) after a few minutes. after restarting MPLABX, it's good.
Debugging tools were not found ... for no reason, after restart mplabx, pickit3 work Ok.
Many false alert / error notifications.
Breakpoints are garbage (many times when they refuse to put them or hold them)... after restart, works Ok.

I think you are not in the right direction with this development.

Which PIC32 do you use ?
Pickit3 is very slow at programming large flash devices so it is probably not the right tool to use to develop PIC32...
I generally use ICD3 or Real-Ice with PIC32 harmony projects because flash images become large as soon as you use protocol stacks...and I don't want to wait a couple of mn for programming ;=)
Additionally Pickit3 does not support SW breakpoints or data breakpoints
