Why does Input Capture have a spurious rising edge event when enabled?

Hi, I'm using the PIC32MZ with FPU Starter Kit. The input pin is not connected to anything, but has WPU enabled. The Input Capture is set to interrupt on rising edges. Hi,I'm working with ADC using interrupts and I noticed that the interrupt is not being executed at fixed times. I'm not using any other timer or doing anything else in the main loop. Why is this happening? The first ISR takes 3.6uS, then about 2 uS later the next ISR triggers (3.6uS) then 35uS later..
