I wrote my own bootloader for PIC24FJ256GA106 project using MPLAB-X 5.35 and XC16 toolchain 1.50
It works, it loads the user program in flash and jumps to the correct entry point location.
Of coures I have to call __resetALT (user program doesn't inizialize memory befor jumps to main())
but the link uses a strange address for  __resetALT (see the attached picture)
Did you have any similar problem?
How did you fix it ?
