The BM57SPPS5MC2 Bluetooth module is designed for both MFi (The Made for iPod, Made for iPhone and Made for iPad logos) iOS App Enabled Accessory and Bluetooth 3.0 Std. SPP for other OSs App Accessory via Bluetooth connectivity. For purchasing the module, the external Apple authentication coprocessor and MFi certification are required.
This module supports iAP (iPod Accessory Protocol) data connections and directly manages Apple authentication chip through I2C interface, reducing lots of engineering efforts and costs to simplify the iOS App Enabled Accessory design.
It is available in the 2.4GHz ISM band Class 2 Radio, compatible with Bluetooth Core Specification Version 3.0 + EDR. IS1657S (M) single chip solution combines transceiver and baseband function to decrease the external components.
It narrows down the module size and minimizes its cost. The optimized power design minimizes power consumption. The module is integrated with shielding case and 2.4GHz RF Chip antenna. It has granted QDID of Bluetooth SIG and FCC/CE certification.

ISSC IS1687SM single chip solution combines transceiver and baseband function to reduce the external components. It narrows down the module size, minimizes its cost and the optimized power design minimizes power consumption for batteries with low capacity.
To provide the superior audio and voice quality, IS1687SM also integrates a DSP co-processor, a PLL, and a stereo CODEC for voice and audio applications. For voice, not only basic A-law/μ-law/CVSD encoding /decoding but also enhanced noise reduction and echo cancellation are implemented by the built-in DSP to reach the better quality in the both sending and receiving sides. For enhanced audio applications, SBC encoding/decoding functions can be also carried out by DSP to satisfy A2DP requirements.
