MOST® is the leading standard for automotive infotainment.

MOST stands for Media Oriented Systems Transport. It is used predominantly in automotive infotainment networks, and has been adopted by many of the world's leading automotive companies.

MOST standards support a number of different physical media, including plastic optical fiber and copper cables.

EqcoLogic has confirmed the feasibility of using low cost 50Ω automotive coax cables with the EQCO850SC transceiver.

For automotive applications, the EQ82150 device has been developed and will be supplied to meet stringent automotive test requirements. The current lead standard is MOST 150 ( 150Mbit/s ); future generations of MOST will move into multi-Gbit/s data-rates, supporting imaging-based driver assistance as well as infotainment.
