Introduction

This is the documentation for the data structures, functions, variables, defines, enums, and typedefs in the software for application note AVR32113. It also gives an example of the usage of the MMU.

Compilation Info

This software was written for the GNU GCC for AVR32 and IAR Systems compiler for AVR32. Other compilers may or may not work.

Device Info

All AVR32 devices with a MMU can be used. This example has been tested with the following setup:

Setup Information

CPU speed: 20 MHz

This example uses the switches, LEDs and RGB LEDs on the STK1000 card. They must be connected by the following scheme for the example to work out of the box.

The application note uses the GPIO peripheral and USART1 peripheral, these must be enabled on the daughter board and routed to the development kit.

For the STK1000 combined with STK1002 (AP7000) the switches on the daughter board need to be adjusted as followed:

The USART1 have the following setup, and must be matched to see the output on the client side:

Application Usage

The device will start up and output data to the USART1, showing the user a menu to choose which demonstration that should be run.

The application is controlled using the switches on the STK1000 board. The switches have the following functions:

The LED above the switch will light while the application is running in that mode.

The RGB LEDs are used to give the user a status on the result of a demo run:
