AVR32101 The AVR32 Interrupt Controller Documentation

Atmel AVR32 Application Notes

Introduction

This is the documentation for the data structures, functions, variables, defines, enums, and typedefs in the software for application note AVR32101. It also gives an examples of the usage of the AVR32 Interrupt Controller and how to register interrupt handlers in supported AVR32 compilers

Compilation Info

This software was written for the GNU GCC for AVR32 and IAR Systems compiler for AVR32. Other compilers may or may not work. Please note that there are distinct examples for both. The usart interrupt example is written for gcc.

Device Info

All AVR32 devices can be used. This example has been tested with the following setup:

Setup Information

CPU speed: 20 MHz

Application Usage

All three examples cover various use of the Interrupt Controller and demonstrates different PIO functionality.

The two examples, interrupt_example_gcc.c and interrupt_example_iar.c are perform identical tasks, but only compile for the corresponding compiler.

Please consult the IAR EWAVR32 documentation on configuration and setup options.
