  • Microchip President and CEO Steve Sanghi was named the 2010 “Executive of the Year” in the EE Times Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards. Finalists were selected by the editors of EE Times, and the winner was chosen by a panel of distinguished industry judges, based on the executive’s leadership, and technological and fiscal vision.
  • This honor followed on the heels of Microchip’s 2009 win for the EE Times ACE “Company of the Year.”

  • Microchip also won VDC Research’s annual “Embeddy” award for best in show, hardware category at the 2011 Boston Embedded Systems Conference, for its new 8-bit PIC10F(LF)32X and PIC1XF(LF)150X microcontrollers, which feature integrated configurable logic in 6- to 20-pin packages.

Microchip Technology Incorporated is a leading supplier of field-programmable embedded control solutions by manufacturing the popular PIC® microcontrollers; a broad spectrum of innovative analog products; and related non-volatile memory products. We are on a relentless quest for perfection and are committed to the goal of zero defects. We will perform correctly the first time and maintain ISO/TS 16949 quality system certification to ensure customer satisfaction. We employ the aggregate system so that all employees anticipate problems and implement root cause solutions using effective and standardized improvement methods. We believe that quality is built-in and not inspected out and that when quality comes first, reduced costs follow.
