Description:
|
All KEELOQ® Encoders use a common code word format. They all pack the bits of information in the same number and position in the transmission sequence. While all the encoders offer a basic Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) method to produce a signal that is suitable for radio transmission, many Advanced KEELOQ Encoders (HCS360 and higher) offer alternative methods. One such alternative method is Manchester encoding. This Technical Brief shows PICmicro® microcontrollers assembly routines to receive Manchester encoded transmissions. other encoding systems, such as PWM.
