The Key Fob accessory unit enables quick expansion of the Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) Reference Design (APGRD001).

The Key Fob receives and decodes the Low Frequency challenge from the Base Station. If there is a match, the Key Fob will transmit an Ultra high Frequency signal back to the Receiver/Decode.

The unit can be used in a Remote Keyless Entry Design as well.
