Microchip Graphics Library
The Microchip Graphics Library is highly modular and can be used with Microchip´s 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers. It is free for Microchip customers, easy-to-use and has an open documented interface for driver or controller support. The library supports the following features:
- Pre-made graphics objects
- Supports multiple fonts and languages
- User interfaces for mTouch™ sensing solution
Microchip Graphics Display Designer
The Graphics Display Designer (GDD) is a GUI (Graphical User Interface) plug-in for MPLAB® IDE. It utilizes the Microchip Graphics Library to enable development of interactive GUIs on Microchip MCUs. The output source files can be compiled with the Microchip Graphics Library using Microchip C compilers for PIC24 and PIC32 MCUs and dsPIC® DSCs. It reduces the need to memorize graphics object information, improves the edit-compile-execute cycle and allows developers to work in the same space as users.
