Fade between two pictures

Hi, I'm currently working on a project(pic32, 2.8" tft) were i'm using microchips graphics library. In the design I want to fade between imageA to imageB. These two images are small and only cover a small area of the display. I want to fade just images, not the rest. I've been looking in the help manual for the graphics library and searched the forums without any result. So I wonder, is this possible with the graphics library? Are there any example/demo of it that i can look at? I am fairly new when it comes to programming, any help would be greatly appreciated.

fading in and out images requires some form of alpha blending. Only the Epson S1D13517 driver distributed with the Graphics Library has this feature. There is currently no alpha blending primitives in the library. So what you are thinking is not possible unless you write your own routines or use the S1D1357 driver. The S1D1357 controller from Epson is optimized for VGA sized screens.
