LVP

what is LVP and HVP.
 
If config is set as LVP = ON, or LVP = OFF, it doesn't seem to make any difference. MCLR is pulled high with 10K.

"LVP =on" allows an external programmer to use LVP mode (but it does not have to)
HVP mode is always available.
You have to specifically tell an ICD3 or PK3 to use LVP mode, it does NOT follow the LVP CONFIG bit setting.
