[SOLVED] can't create non-harmony project for PIC32MZ on MPLAB X IDE v4.01

Today, I installed MPLABX IDE v4.01. And I tried to create non-harmony project for PIC32MZ2048ECH144. It always failed.
Did anyone use MPLABX IDE v4.01?   have the same problem?

    Maybe you should choose a different processor:

    Replug the PICKit3,  then the problem is gone.
    never found this kind of problem on the previous verion of MPLABX IDE.

     Thanks for all reply.

     We will move to PIC32EF.

     I tried the harmony example "debug_uart".
    found that only USART_2 works, USART_4 doesn't work.
    The Console & Debug service must use USART_2, right?

    or maybe I should post this question into "PIC32" or "Harmony" subforums.

    An interest thing found,  "debug_uart" demo has below 3 calls.
            SYS_MESSAGE("\n\rTest Message!");
            SYS_DEBUG_MESSAGE(SYS_ERROR_DEBUG, "\n\rTest Debug Message!");
            SYS_DEBUG_PRINT(SYS_ERROR_ERROR, "\n\rTest Error Message %d", 1);

    when the "debug_uart" is running, I only see below messages in the terminal window on PC.

            Test Message!
            Test Error Message 1
    "Test Debug Message!" is missing in both normal mode and debug mode.

    Did I have anything wrong?

    SYS_DEBUG_MESSAGE(SYS_ERROR_DEBUG, "\n\rTest Debug Message!");

    change the parameter "SYS_ERROR_DEBUG" to "SYS_ERROR_FATAL"

    then "Test Debug Message!"  comes up in my terminal GUI window
