Hello,

We did some checking and we are able to duplicate this issue.  It seems to have nothing to do with the library or your settings.  I have one of my team looking into potential fixes for this now.

It turns out that while it does have an odd linkage in the compiler back to an older version of the math library, this in itself is not the root cause.  We have moved around the libraries and still repeat the error.  It seems that the linker has an incorrect setting which is there by default.  This may take a little time to resolve.

As I stated before, we do not usually have customers that are interactive with DSP on the PIC32MZ DA, so some of these combinations are unverified.  We appreciate your patience as we look through this.

Hi,

I have rebuilt the Pic32 MZ DSP Math Library to not use the FPU instructions.  Unzip the attached "dsp_pic32mz_nofpu.a" library file to the <Harmony>/bin/framework/math/dsp folder of your project.  Remove the "dsp_pic32mz.a" library from this same project folder.  When the "Exclude Floating Point Library" is set in the gcc/general settings of properties, this library will be used.  The Pic32 MZ DA does not have an FPU coprocessor, so when this library is available it will link to it and there will be no unresolved references for the C files that use FPU functions.

Regards,

Chuck

The new library files that will support PIC32MZ DA for DSP will be included in the upcoming Harmony v2.06 release.  Changes to MCC will enable user controls as needed.

In the meantime, users of Harmony v2.05 or earlier can use the update provided by 'clip'.
