And re: moving Atmel tools into MPLAB??? No, go the other way.
 
and rant, portion...  Qt, Notepad++, Eclipse, Code-Blocks, Code Composer Studio, Visual Studio... ALL do this.
It was bad enough in a small, 16 bit MCU, but Harmony is unworkable without folding code.

Ok, I found a way to do the folding manually, but it's not very elegant.
