DALI Communication

hi all,
i using pic24f08kl302 and mplab x ide and xc16 compiler. i just trying to implement dali communication with this pic.Is it possible with this pic mcu or there any specific pic mcu that have dali bus module.? Is there any available sample code for dali with pic24f?
thanks,

I might start here:  Microchip App Note AN1465

yes i have this and also related notes(only depends pic16f). my doubt is could i use any pin of the pic mcu? if i use INT1 (external interrupt pin) for DALI RX and one I/O pin like RD0 for DALI TX. could i use this pins directly as a DALI bus? Is -DALI,+DALI doesnt matter for this?(Connectors are nonpolarized at the receiver means)

    No.
Did you not understand the buffering requirements?
That application note tells you the DALI bus runs voltages from 9.5 to 22.5V.
You need the correct buffering to transmit and receive, as per the schematic on pages 3 & 11.

It's non-polarised, as you are supposed to connect to it via a diode bridge, as per the schematic on pages 3 & 11.

yes now i understood about buffering. so diode bridge must be there.
    thanks.
